Ben Polando, Farmer-in Chief at Trabia Farms, and CEO of Atypical Place, was interviewed by journalist Heather Young during our Earth Day celebration. In February, Atypical Place provided pumpkin seeds and planting materials to local special-needs classrooms and, on April 18, participants visited the farm to plant their pumpkin seedlings into the Rainbow Garden. In the Fall, the students will revisit the farm to pick a pumpkin they helped grow and to celebrate the harvest.
